A New Experience

As many of you know, I fought technology for many years. I just did not want it in my life. I saw many literally consumed by it, and that just wasn’t me. I did not want to be “connected” every second of the day, as so many are in today’s society. I fought it for many years, resisting the marketplace’s call to create a website, to venture into social media, & even to have a cell phone, (yes, I was one of the last people on the planet to purchase a cell phone.) Not having these tools did not seem to hinder my ability to succeed. I grew my business without these tools at my fingertips at a rate that most business owners would admire, (and part of my success was due to all of your success after following my guidelines, and I thank you all for that.) However, I knew that to compete in business in this technological world, one must embrace it in order to take their business to the next level.
So, after two years with a website, a blog, and a cell phone, and a year on Facebook & Twitter, I’m happy to say that the experience has been positive and successful, and I feel that my presence in the social media world has been well received, (I even have had several celebrities “favorite” my tweets, a pretty odd and surreal experience, especially when some are people that you truly admire!) It’s definitely a business booster when posts are shared at the rate that they are. It’s the advertising of the future, and it’s all self-propelled. I even created a Remedy Recipes App which is available at both the App Store & Google Play for i-PHONE and Android, respectively. My best selling book, Remedy Recipes has been received well for e-books on Apple i-PAD & Barnes & Noble nook, which all really happened without me pursuing it. It’s all still incredible to me, and seems to continue to grow in the technology department. Having had the privilege to watch my brand grow has been a very interesting experience.
Another amazing experience in this social media realm has been getting to know you all. It has really been a pleasure, and I thank you, humbly for following me on this journey. It’s also been great to reconnect with old friends, even if it is just in the knowing of how & where you all are and that you are happy with life. It’s fun to see that we grew to have a lot in common even after all the years in between. Thank you, everyone for sharing your thoughts & positive comments, and I hope that you all enjoy my posts. I guess you’re next, Instagram!

Have a blessed Easter & Passover, everyone! I hope your Lenten Devotions helped you to conquer some bad habits & create some good habits! God bless you all.

Until next month, from the “Blogosphere”,
