Hibachi Style Grilled Quail Kabobs

1 pound cubed quail ( or any poultry )
1 chopped red pepper
1 chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped shitake mushroom
1/2 chopped white onion

Marinate overnight in 1/2 cup low sodium teriyaki, 1/4 cup rice wine, 1/4 cup thin sliced fresh ginger, & a pinch of black pepper.

( 6 oz. quail portion for men, 3 oz. for women / 1 cup of grilled veggies for both )

Grill & enjoy over a salad for dinner,( Meal 4 on the Remedy Recipes format ). Or, if you’d like it for Meals 2 or 3 on the Remedy Recipes format, add some delicious grilled sweet potato:

– Slice 1 large sweet potato into strips.
– steam the sweet potato strips until slightly tender ( usually, a minute in the microwave will do- some microwaves vary. )
– coat lightly with olive oil & a pinch of cinnamon
– grill & enjoy ( 1 whole sweet potato for men, 1/2 sweet potato for women )

( If you’re not a sweet potato lover, you may place the grilled kabobs over brown rice or quinoa. 1 cup for men, 1/2 cup for women. )
