Oatmeal Waffles

*You will need one Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker. (Available at Bed, Bath, & Beyond)
Ingredients:
– 1 box of packets, (or tub) of instant oatmeal
– eggs & egg whites (carton)
– cinnamon
– sparkling water
– sugar free maple syrup (Joseph’s Sugar Free Maple Syrup is available at Wild By Nature, & Vermont Maid Sugar Free Maple Syrup is available at most grocery stores.)
 
Instructions:
For Women:
– Mix 1 whole egg, 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 1/2 cup dry instant oats, & 1/4 cup sparkling water together thoroughly in a bowl or measuring cup.
– Plug in waffle maker, allow to heat, & pour the mixture onto the waffle maker a little bit at a time, creating individual waffles. The recipe will make several waffles. This is your portion, & you may eat them all. Top with your choice of sugar free maple syrup.
 
For Men:
– Mix 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, 1 cup dry instant oats,
& 1/2 cup sparkling water together thoroughly in a bowl or measuring cup.
– Plug in waffle maker, allow to heat, & pour the mixture onto the waffle maker a little bit at a time, creating individual waffles. The recipe will make several waffles. This is your portion, & you may eat them all. Top with your choice of sugar free maple syrup.
* For the best batter texture, allow the mixture to sit for 5 minutes so that the oats absorb some of the liquid, preferably in the refrigerator.
* The Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker is non-stick & easy to clean!

Both this recipe, and last month’s Remedy Recipes Oat & Protein Muffins are the perfect meal, not only for breakfast, but at other meals as well! This may be used for Meals 1, 2, & 3 on the Remedy Recipes format, using the above mentioned portions.
