1 pound Nature’s Promise Grass-fed Ground Beef, (or ground bison)
1 can Nature’s Promise Black Beans, (15.5 oz.)
2 tbsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1 medium, diced onion
1 tbsp Nature’s Promise Minced Garlic
2 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp ground cumin
1 can Nature’s Promise Diced Tomatoes, (15.5 oz.)
1 diced jalapeño pepper
1/4 diced red hot chili pepper, (optional, for an extra kick)

Items that you will need:
Nature’s Promise Olive Oil Cooking Spray
1 large pan

Instructions:
Spray the large pan with olive oil spray, & heat on high.
Add the ground beef, (or bison,) and the diced onion to the pan, and cook on high heat for 5-7 minutes, or until browned. Stir occasionally during the 5-7 minutes to assure that the meat is browned evenly.
Add the can of black beans, 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp chili powder, 2 tbsp ground cumin, 1 can of diced tomatoes, 1 diced jalapeño pepper, & 1/4 diced red hot chili pepper, (optional, for extra kick.) Reduce the heat to low, and allow to simmer for an additional 20 minutes.

Serve hot with a pinch of minced parsley for garnish.

Our Lone Star Chili recipe featured in my best selling book, Remedy Recipes has been a long time favorite of many of our clients, and a favorite of ours as well! Our new Winter Heat Blackened Chili has a little more bite for any of you spicy food lovers out there. If you prefer it more mild, just don’t add the red hot chili pepper. The beef, (or bison,) & black beans combination provides this chili with great flavor & is a hearty meal for the winter months.

Portions: 4 oz. for women/ 8 oz. for men

You may use this as a Meal 4 on the Remedy Recipes format, along with a side salad.

If you choose to have it for Meals 2 or 3, add a carbohydrate such as Beanitos Bean & Rice Chips, or Lundberg’s Brown Rice Chips, (6-8 chips for women, 10-12 chips for men.) The chips are great to scoop up our delicious chili!

We hope that you enjoy our new chili as much as our Lone Star version. Our wish is that it is as well-recieved, and that it warms you throughout the Winter months. We wish you a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukah, & a Happy, healthy, & prosperous New Year!!! Please remember to give to those in need. Even the smallest gift of one’s time can bring joy to others at Christmas Time. So if you cannot donate money to great organizations like the Marine Corps Toys for Tots or Food for the Poor, consider helping out at your local church food pantry or soup kitchen.

We wish you wonderful moments shared with family & friends. Cherish every moment with the ones that you love. And may God bless you all.
